The matchups for the Detroit Metro Sports Commission’s Big Day Prep Showdown IV - albeit a pared down version this year with four games in one day – are out.

The showcase game on Friday, August 29 at Eastern Michigan’s Rynearson Stadium is a much-anticipated matchup between storied Muskegon and upstart Detroit King.

Muskegon looks to have the early edge as King loses a plethora of senior talent – many players to the college ranks, including Nick Perry (USC), Darrin Williams (Cincinnati), Flenard Whitfield (Western Michigan – hoops).

The Big Reds enter 2008 fresh off a humbling 41-7 loss to Hudsonville in a district final.

South Lyon vs. Walled Lake Central – 11 a.m.

Detroit King vs. Muskegon – 2 p.m.

Lake Orion vs. Rockford – 5 p.m.

Ann Arbor Pioneer vs. Saline – 8 p.m.
